The Carriacou Oral History Project, titled "Rising from the Waves," is currently underway and will officially begin interviews early next year. This project aims to capture the stories, experiences, and resilience of the people of Carriacou in the face of challenges like Hurricane Beryl. Through these powerful personal accounts, "Rising from the Waves" will preserve the community's unique heritage and collective memory, creating a vibrant narrative of hope and perseverance. Upon the Carriacou Museum’s reopening, these oral histories will be exhibited, offering visitors an immersive journey into Carriacou’s past and its enduring spirit.
